At Tecate Comuna we are convinced that sustainability is necessary so that we can always appreciate one of humanity's greatest treasures: Music. This is why we adopt social and environmental initiatives that promote sustainability.
We aim to offer a sustainable and safe transportation option through our shuttle program, which consists of five routes that attendees can use to get home.
Tecate Comuna promotes a circular economy. In collaboration with food trucks, we prioritize using sustainable alternatives like compostable, paper, or cardboard materials to minimize single-use plastics.
We provide free hydration to all attendees at our hydration stations, promoting the reduction of PET bottle use. We also encourage efficient water use, ensuring that water used in festival production is reused for gardening and cleaning activities within Foro Cholula.
We have the following reasonable accommodations: Platforms and restrooms accessible to people with disabilities.
We collaborate with community support institutions to create a positive impact on our society.
For our community to embrace sustainability and secure a future where we can enjoy music, we need your support. We invite you to participate in our initiatives: use the shuttle program, return your cup before leaving the festival, and bring your empty thermos to use at the hydration stations. Please remember that bringing food, drinks, or glass thermoses is not allowed.
We invite you to keep spreading sustainability in your daily life. Here are some actions we suggest you take:
Unplug any electronic devices you are not using.
Get involved in volunteer activities in your community.
Keep your refrigerator clean.
Use LED lights or energy-saving bulbs.
Ride a bike, use public transportation, or carpool.
Learn Mexican Sign Language.
Keep your car engine in good condition.
Reduce your intake of meat products, and prioritize local and cruelty-free products.
Adopt native plants from the region, as they absorb CO2 from the ambient air.
Plant a tree; let’s all work for a green city.
Remember the 3 Rs: Reduce your consumption, Reuse everything you can, and Recycle the rest.
